SITUATION IN ORGANISATION
Service provider to report to: Facilities Project Manager
CONTEXT AND ENVIRONMENT
• Egina is a deep offshore development on the block OML130 in Nigeria operated by TOTAL Upstream Nigeria Limited, located 150 km from the coast.
• The development in 1,550 m water depth includes a spread moored large size FPSO of 240 POB associated to an offloading calm buoy, 2 production loops connecting 6 subsea manifolds with 20 production wells and 3 injection lines connecting 19 water injection wells. A 20km gas export line ties in to Akpo export pipeline to Amenam. Production is 200 kBPD of oil, 456 kBPD of water and 4,6 Mm3/d of gas export. First oil is expected late 2014.
• The Field Development Plan has been approved in March 2009 and the FID is expected before end of 2010. Main activities for the year 2009 and 2010 are the Basic Engineering studies in Nigeria and the preparation of the main contracts to be awarded early 2011. The management of the Egina integrated project is located in Lagos.
SERVICE DIMENSIONS
• Within the Egina project, he/she covers all aspects of interfaces and MoC, being internal (between Packages, disciplines, PMT) or external (between Egina Packages, Contractors, COMPANY, Regulators etc). He/She manages all interfaces and MoC matters, protecting the EGINA project and TUPNI’s position with regard to all external interfaces across Packages and to internal interfaces of the EPC contracts, and ensuring that changes are evaluated and executed for the overall benefit of the Project.
• Accordingly, the Interfaces & MoC Manager shall ensure that the EPC Contractors and EGINA Teams implement the agreed EGINA interface management procedure and methodology. He/She shall ensure the proper and timely follow-up and resolution of interfaces issues between the various Packages documents. He/She must ensure full control of the Management of Change process, and shall document all the changes, taking care to perform a full review of Geoscience, Drilling, Field Operations, facilities, and Project aspects to justify or reject the change.
• Such missions will be maintained all along the Project progress, starting at its early stage, ie during Basic Engineering studies and Call for Tender process.
ACTIVITIES
1. Management of interface and change data between Packages and parties, monitor and control interface and change issues, in order to resolve interface and change issues in a timely and organised manner according to the project interface and change control procedures.
2. Attend major interface meetings, internal and external with other Packages, Contractor representatives, Vendors, TOTAL specialists, Partner’s experts, etc. Lead interface and other technical meetings as required.
3. Ensure that HSE requirements are systematically considered all along the interface management process and in particular that interfaces are properly addressed during HAZID/HAZOP/PTR project audits.
4. Consolidate and advise the EGINA Director, the Facilities Project Manager and the Package Manager(s) of any schedule & commercial issues arising from interfaces and changes. Shall be the coordinator of the Management of Change, providing the justification through all disciplines of the change. Ensure complete documentation of all changes, and communication of these in compliance with the processes agreed with Partners and regulatory authorities.
5. Ensure, with interface coordinator of each package, that EPC Contractors implement the required interface management system & resources and monitor throughout the project duration that EPC Contractors honour their responsibilities as defined in the project interface procedure.
6. Together with Package Lead engineers, ensure design consistency and continuity throughout the facilities (from Subsea to Topsides).
7. Avoid change orders and delays caused by interface issues; ensure timely follow-up of interface issues
8. Ensure the implementation of interface changes/optimisations in all Packages resulting from negotiations of the external interfaces.
9. Assist the Package Managers, prior to and during onshore and offshore construction phase, by anticipating operational interfaces with other parties (clashes or conflicting program). Propose solutions and participate in SIMOPS definition and resolution.

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE OF SERVICE PROVIDER
• Qualification(s): Chartered Engineer or similar education level, with a sound oil & gas multi-discipline technical background in deep offshore production facilities engineering & construction,
• Professional Experience (number of years) : minimum 15 years of relevant FPSO and Subsea project engineering experience, complemented by general knowledge/experience concerning the integration of subsea system surface equipment (risers, umbilicals, subsea control systems, hydraulic systems, etc) with the surface production facilities. A good understanding of overall and detail planning management is essential.
• Fluent in English language
OTHER OBSERVATIONS
Location & Scheme: Resident at Egina Project main office during the project execution phase (Lagos, Nigeria), with regular visits to Contractor premises during engineering, construction and commissioning phases. Activities are taking place at various geographical locations. Located in Nigeria during installation and start-up phase

Demobilisation: at first oil (expected end 2014)
