STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING SERVICE
In the frame of Detailed Engineering supervision team work:
- Assist the Offshore Engineering Coordinator in ensuring that the design of structural installations and associated facilities is carried out according to the Project specifications; ensure that the design of installations meets the Contract requirements.
- Supervise the contractor for structural engineering activities. Guide the design of the installation by close participation in the design activities, review and comment on the validity of the structural studies.
- Responsible of the structural discipline for the whole offshore Anguille Re-development project.
ACTIVITES / ACTIVITIES
- Advise the Offshore Engineering Coordinator on solutions to structural issues
- Ensure that the design of installations meets the requirements of the Project Specifications, General Specifications, Safety Concept and other related documents.
- Guarantee the quality of structural-related studies. Supervise the contractor for structural engineering activities. Guide the design of the installation by close participation in the design activities, review and comment engineering documentation.
- Participate in technical meetings, challenge the Contractor, supervise and promote cost saving solutions in the design.
- Promote alternatives for structural design to optimise onshore and offshore work
- Ensure the close follow-up for all structural interfaces on Anguille project
- Ensure liaison with TDO/TEC relevant specialist for any clarification/confirmation required
