SSPS HSE ADVISOR
To monitor and ensure compliance of HSE Management activities during the design, construction, integration &
commissioning of SSPS facilities with applicable COMPANY Rules, Procedures and best work practices.
He will work in close relation with the SSS & SPS Leaders and SSPS Site Representatives in the key role of
providing HSE Leadership in Communication, Organization, Inspection & Survey of Project Contractor and
sub-Contractors located within Norway, Scotland US and France. The principal SSPS sites include, but are not
limited to FMC at Asker, Horten, Dunfermline and Kongsberg, GG at Tonsberg, OMUS in Florida, CMP in Arles and Framo in Bergen.
• Perform regular HSE Supervision and surveillance to monitor HSE Performance at Contractor and Subcontractors offices and Construction Sites
• Coordinate Construction activities to comply with all relevant COMPANY HSE Rules and Contract requirements
• Coordinate & interface between Company Site Representatives and Managers and Contractor’s HSE Management on HSE issues and on the implementation of the Project HSE Management requirements
• Stop any unsafe operation / situation and report immediately to Company Site Representative and SSPS Manager
• Implement, monitor & report corrective actions at Contractor and sub-Contractors sites
• Lead regular HSE coordination meeting & Safety tour at Contractor and sub-Contractors sites
• Provide coaching in HSE issues to all personnel at Contractor and Subcontractor offices and site locations
• Conduct JSA meeting with key personnel for major tasks of the Project at Contractor and sub-Contractors sites
• Provide regular HSE reports on site survey & inspections
• Assist the Pazflor HSE Manager within the coordination of HSE training as per Project training requirements
• Implement and support PPG Safety Campaigns and Safety Initiatives
