In the frame of Basic Engineering supervision team work:
- Assist the Engineering Manager in ensuring that the design of Integrated Control and Safety Systems (ICSS, including PCS, ESD, F&G, PLC) is carried out according to the Project specifications; ensure that the design of installations meets the requirements of the SOR and other related documents issued at the end of the pre-project studies.
- Supervise the contractor for System and Instrumentation engineering activities.
- Responsible of the compliance and overall compatibility of ICSS between new and existing facilities on Anguille field both onshore and offshore.
- Assure interfaces with other projects for ICSS related issues.
- Assist Detailed Engineering project team in Instrumentation and ICSS-related engineering activities.
- Participate in bids technical evaluation during Call For Tender
ACTIVITES
- Advise the Engineering Manager on solutions to System / Instrumentation issues
- Ensure that the design of installations meets the requirements of the General Specifications, Project’s SOR, Safety Concept, Instrument and Control Philosophy and other related documents issued at the end of the pre-project studies
- Guarantee the quality of System-related studies. Supervise the engineering contractor. Guide the design of the installation by close participation in the design activities. Review and comment engineering documentation, assure that all deliverables are issued on time.
- Participate in technical meetings, challenge the Contractor, supervise and promote cost saving solutions in the design.
- Ensure the close follow-up for all System interfaces on Anguille project.
- Interface with neighbouring disciplines (Safety, QA , Operations, Commissioning), to ensure that the plant is safe, operable and maintainable
