INSTALLATION DESIGN ENGINEERING SERVICES
MISSIONS
• To assist SURF-1 Lead Engineer in managing all offshore installation engineering and execution procedures
developed by CLOV EPSC Contractor throughout the design and construction phases.
• To identify marine interfaces and participate in finding the best way to manage these interfaces
• To provide offshore assistance during marine operations
ACTIVITIES

1. Support and enhance the HSEQ project objectives and ensure safe working practices are
applied during development of construction and installation documentation.
2. To review in detail all engineering and construction documents
3. To follow installation engineering progress and construction operations
4. To follow installability of Company items from other packages and in particular weight control
of manifolds
5. To liaise with Marine Warranty Surveyor for all procedures review and approval
6. To follow interface matters technically in cooperation with the Interfaces Engineer; to participate in
interface meetings
7. Participate in FATs, Qualification tests and Site Integration Tests
8. To provide potential assistance to offshore team during critical phases of operations
OBSERVATIONS ON ACTIVITIES AND MISSIONS
?? Supervision, control and co-ordination of installation engineering works for CLOV SURF-1 package in
compliance with CLOV Contract Scope of Work, Project Specifications and Procedures, without impacting
the schedule or the required level of quality and safety.
?? Interface with other disciplines of the project on all engineering and installability matters
?? The work will probably be distributed in various places from Europe and Angola which will lead to a complex
management.
?? Frequent missions with potential relocation in Angola during fabrication and installation phases are to be
anticipated |

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND
Qualification: Educated to degree level or higher in a related subject.
Experience: Minimum 5 years experience in oil and gas, similar experience in large offshore project.

OTHER OBSERVATIONS ON THE SPECIFICITIES OF THE SERVICE AND ITS ENVIRONMENT
Communication – ability to function as part of a dispersed Project Team to maintain clear understanding to design
issues, progress and objectives.
Strong interpersonal skills and able to work with a multi-disciplined/multi-cultural team.
The significantly large Angolan Content for this Project compared to industry experience brings an additional challenge
to this project.
Location & scheme:
?? Resident in SURF EPSC contractor’s office detailed engineering, with missions to Angola and other geographical
sites as required.
?? Possible relocation to Angola during fabrication and installation phases. |
