QA/QC Engineer Subsea Separation and Production Systems

QA/QC Engineer in overall charge of all Quality Assurance and Quality Surveillance activities associated with the Pazflor Subsea Separation and Production System Work Package and its EPC/LOFSS contractor.  The SSPS scope of work comprises principally of the design, procurement, manufacture/construction, pre-commissioning, and installation support services, for subsea Xmas Trees, manifolds, control systems, subsea separation systems and installation/intervention tooling.  Such work being based in Norway but with activities ongoing on a trans-continental basis, including Angola
• Coordinate the PPG review and acceptance of the SSPS Contractor Project Execution plan, including the Project Quality Management System, the Quality Control Plans and Procurement Plans in particular, and similar documents for its main subcontractors/vendors.
• Develop and coordinate, with the assistance of the PPG Project Quality Manager, the PPG overall Surveillance Management Plan for the SSPS scope of work
• Coordinate the review of the detailed scope of work, list of equipment and services, and ensure that the contractor establishes an acceptable programme of quality assurance, quality control and quality surveillance activities for its contractual SSPS scope of work.
• Review and agree the contractor’s internal and external quality audit programme, and participate as observer in selected audits.  When considered necessary, organise and conduct direct quality audits of the contractor or its subcontractors/suppliers/vendors.
• Provide QA/QC expertise and assistance upon specific demand from the SSPS sub-package leaders
• Coordinate the review and mark up of contractor’s detailed quality control/inspection and test plans with the required PPG surveillance points.  Thereafter liaise with contractor’s quality management function to follow contractor’s implementation of its own quality control and surveillance activities, as well as to coordinate the implementation of PPG surveillance activities.
• Continuously review contractor’s quality management processes and quality control performance and provide regular reports to PPG SSPS Manager of achievements and problems.  Ensure that appropriate remedial and corrective action is planned and implemented.  Participate to SSPS surveillance follow up to verify close-out.
• Ensure that SSPS ‘Acceptance and Handover’ procedures are developed and implemented.
• Provide assistance upon any specific demand from SSPS Manager, deputy Manager & work-package leaders
• Interface with the Pazflor Project Quality Manager and other PPG Work Packages regarding quality management matters.
